Meesapulimala is known for its breathtaking beauty, panoramic views, and its status as the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats after Anamudi.

The name Meesapulimala translates to “the mountain with a mustache” in the local language, referring to the shape of the ridges that resemble a mustache. The peak stands at an elevation of around 2,640 meters (8,661 feet) above sea level, offering mesmerizing vistas of the surrounding valleys, tea plantations, and mist-covered mountains.
