Kerala Guruvayur Temple Operating Hours – Guruvayur Temple Darshan Schedule
Guruvayur Temple adheres to a comprehensive system of rituals, which is traditionally attributed to Sri Adi Sankaracharya. The temple’s daily schedule starts at 3 AM and concludes after the day’s prayers and ceremonies, usually around 10 PM. Typically, the temple conducts five daily rituals and three circumambulatory processions known as Sreeveli, where celestial deities are revered and the Lord’s Thidambu is carried on an elephant’s back. On days with Udayasthamana Poojas, a total of twenty-one rituals are performed.
The temple’s operating hours are from 3:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and it will be closed during the period between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The temple reopens at 4:30 PM.
