The world-renowned Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha temple is nestled within the dense forests of the southernmost region of the Periyar Tiger Reserve in the Western Ghats. This temple annually draws millions of pilgrims from across India and beyond.
Devotees affectionately refer to Lord Ayyappa, the principal deity of Sabarimala, as “Annadhana Prabhu.” Consequently, providing food to the pilgrims who journey to Sabarimala is not only an act of devotion but also intimately connected to the Ayyappa Dharma.

To facilitate this noble endeavor, the Travancore Devaswom Board, the governing body of the Sabarimala temple, has introduced a free food program for the devotees, available both at Sabarimala and Pampa, including the idathavalams. Given the substantial number of pilgrims who converge on Sabarimala each year, the successful implementation of this program requires significant resources. In response, the Board has established the SABARIMALA SREE DHARMA SASTHA ANNADHANA TRUST, with the primary mission of providing complimentary meals to pilgrims visiting Sabarimala and other temples.
Notably, the Board has erected an Annadhana Mandapam behind the Malikappuram Temple, which stands as the largest of its kind in India. With this infrastructure in place, the Board can cater to the dietary needs of over two lakhs pilgrims round the clock, each and every day.

A devotee can donate any amount in multiplies of Rs.100/-
The privileges will be extended to a nominee in the case of Firms, Companies, and Joint Donors/Sponsors. Individual Donors/Sponsors can also make use of the nomination facility if they so desire.
Annadhanam under this scheme will be provided to all devotees, without limitation.
