Now, passengers can enjoy drinking water inside the bus with KSRTC’s latest initiative. Collaborating with the government project Hilli Aqua, KSRTC has commenced the distribution of bottled water to ensure passengers have access to clean drinking water during their journey. This initiative covers all services, from super fast to high range buses, marking a significant step towards enhancing passenger comfort. At a nominal price of Rs 15 per liter, passengers can avail themselves of this service.

Hilli Aqua, a government-owned entity, has been chosen as the partner for this endeavor, underscoring the commitment to provide passengers with the purest and most reliable drinking water at an affordable rate. According to the management’s press release, the selection of Hilli Aqua reflects the priority placed on delivering high-quality drinking water to passengers.

Passengers relying on KSRTC services can conveniently purchase bottled water directly from KSRTC bus stands. Additionally, KSRTC is establishing a bulk purchasing system to cater to larger orders. The management has announced plans to offer clean water at a wholesale price of Rs. 10 per liter, further enhancing accessibility and affordability for passengers.
