The general itinerary for Chinnar trekking as follows:
Day-1
The trekking starts after lunch from the Chinnar base and the journey through the forest to reach the Treehouse should be exciting. After check-in at the Tree house, we will take the trek to an area called ‘Kallikkad’ to watch more wildlife. It must be a wonderful experience to enjoy the beauty of the hillocks and forests around. You will also love your overnight stay in the tree house.
Day-2
Start for the hike to the next destination, a hilltop house after a hot black coffee which is around 6 kilometers away. There is a stop on the way near a tribal village where all of you can have breakfast with tea. You can reach the camp before lunch. After the lunch prepared by the tribal guards and taking some rest, you can again start hiking to spot unique wildlife. Everybody will be back to the camp before night falls and after the bath gets ready for the campfire dinner.
Day-3
Wake by hearing the sound of birds and animals and trek to the nearest waterhole after a bed coffee. You can return to the camp for breakfast and start hiking to the log house near the river, which is the next camp. After lunch, you can enjoy a dip or swim in the pond. Then start hiking again to enjoy nature and watch wildlife.

Tree House
Built on large trees, 4 people can accommodate in Treehouses. We will provide mattresses, blankets, pillows, and sheets. Since the ladder to the tree house is detachable, you can safely stay in the Treehouses.
Hill Top Hut
This campsite is traditionally built on the edge of the Thengamala Mountain using mud, bamboo, and grass used mainly by the rangers to watch poachers and smugglers. With 2 rooms, you can find basic amenities in them.
Log House
Located near a waterfall on the bank of the Pambar River, this camp has one room, a spacious balcony, and an attached bathroom.
