Here are some of the things to do near the hotel:

From the outside, most buildings on Delhi’s plush Aerocity stretch look similar. Aptly called the Hospitality District, the area is rife with homogeneous structures with glass and steel facades; and rubbing shoulders with the likes of JW Marriott and Holiday Inn is Pride Plaza Hotel Delhi, the new kid on the block. The first thing that strikes you as you step into the lobby of the hotel is that it’s decidedly Indian. With huge paintings of peacocks and jharokas, courtesy of Krsna Mehta of India Circus, the lobby is as welcoming as it is vibrant.
The group’s first upscale property in the city, Pride Plaza Hotel Delhi is also, incidentally, the first home-grown hospitality brand to set up shop in the neighborhood. Each of its 385 rooms and suites has a distinct character marked by artwork depicting different facets of the city and the country, at large. The rooms are spacious and come with standard amenities such as LED TV, free wi-fi and comfortable beds.
I checked in after a long day and all I needed was a good massage. Which is why I headed straight to ORA, the in-house spa. I picked the de-stress massage, a rejuvenating 60-minute therapy that set the tone for the rest of the laid back evening at the hotel. The swimming pool area just outside the spa is also the setting for Angare, a barbecue restaurant that comes alive at night.I took a walk around the hotel and swung by Stallion, the lounge bar. The cocktails packed a punch and were perfectly complemented by the kebab platter. The best, though, was yet to come. Dinner at Oriental Spice, the pan-Asian restaurant, was quite stellar, and the Thai Green Curry is among the best I’ve had in the city so far. I rounded it off with a delectable dessert made with pumpkin, coconut milk and vanilla ice-cream—simple, easy and instantly likable. The Pride Plaza Hotel Delhi sure takes its F&B seriously and that’s a good sign. Cafe Pride, the all-day diner, and Mr. Confectioner, the in-house bakery, are worth your while too.
The property is sure to appeal to both business travelers and families alike, although it leans more towards the business side given its proximity to the airport. It has five large banquet halls sprawled across 12,000 sq ft, making it a great MICE venue as well.
