THE LAST WORD IN LUXURY
Lebua Resort Jaipur provides stylised living amidst an enthralling view of the Aravali hills. When Lebua Hotels and Resorts took over the management of three heritage properties of Rajasthan earlier this year, there was a lot of anticipation, given the group’s focus on providing exceptional experiences. Of the three properties, the one that stands out is the Lebua Resort in Jaipur.
The property’s design has been inspired by Jaipur’s Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory of Jaipur, which was built in 1728. The 60- suite resort is a series of extraordinary shapes and structures—a celebration of textures, patterns, latticework and colour. The raw red stone of the first great arched building appears fiery in the evening sun, and the large, circular Chakra Bar has fountains of mist swirling outside its slit windows. The suites themselves are all about the jewelled colours for which Jaipur is known— fuchsia, emerald green and blue sapphire set off by black-and-white zigzag terrazzo floors.
Planned along crescent-shaped streets at varying heights, each suite is ensured a view of the Aravali hills and has traditional bay windows with seating.
Vajra restaurant serves unique Asian and Continental recipes, cooked with fresh ingredients. The 20,000 sq. ft. la Terre Spa by L’Occitane is a quiet and meditative place for rejuvenation. The spa has 10 treatment rooms, two couple treatment rooms, one relaxation room, a yoga studio, a steam bath, a jacuzzi and a gymnasium.
By Air/Rail/Road Lebua Resort in Jaipur can be easily reached by air, rail and road. The nearest major city is New Delhi, at a distance of 250 km by road. Regular flights are available from all parts of the country and it takes 45 mins to reach Jaipur by air from Delhi.
