Make sure you don’t get caught out if you book a trip and the rules change. “It’s important to do your research and choose a holiday company that will allow changes to be made to bookings if needed,” explains Paul. “Many brands are now offering booking flexibility and Covid-19 booking cover, which guarantees a refund for Covid-related cancellation. This will help mitigate the risk of booking a trip for this year, but don’t forget to also check your travel insurance includes Covid-19 coverage.”
