Day 1
Kochi (Cochin)
On arrival at Cochin / Kochi, our representative will cordially receive you from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station. Our driver will transfer you to the Hotel. Check into Hotel and proceed to sightseeing in cochin for the rest of the day.
Sightseeing includes Fort Kochi, Indian Naval Maritime Museum, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, Hill Palace Tripunithura. You can find some time for shopping at Cochin.
Day 2
Kochi / Cochin – Thekkady (Periyar)
After breakfast, drive from Cochin to Thekkady. Thekkady is hailed as the paradise of aromatic spices like cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom and clove. Mullaperiyar dam and boating in the lake are the major highlights of Thekkady. For about 2 happy hours you can enjoy the boating. During this exhilarating experience you can also have a glimpse of the wildlife in the nearby forests. Capture the rare moments in your camera. It is a place with a wide scope for adventure tourism. Periyar Tiger Trail, Nature walk, Bamboo Rafting etc. are organized by the Forest Department for adventure loving tourists.
Plantation tourism, a new face of Kerala tourism is also promoted where you can see the method of plantation of different spices of Kerala. Visit the Periyar wildlife sanctuary that is situated in Thekkady.

Day 3
Activities in Thekkady
Leave the hotel just after your breakfast to enjoy various adventure activities offered by Thekkady such as trekking, border hiking and bamboo rafting. Besides, you can indulge in many adrenaline rush activities like hiking and wildlife train at this destination. Visitors also love to enjoy boat ride that is possible at a nominal rate on the artificial lake in the wildlife sanctuary. Day 4
Thekkady – Kumarakom Houseboat
Transfer to Kumarakom, the panoramic backwater destination. In fact, backwaters are the prime attraction of this tourist place. Board your traditional houseboat here to enjoy a delightful cruise experience. Enjoy an overnight stay in your houseboat and taste a wide range of tasty cuisines. It must be a wonderful experience for the travelers to spend a night in the houseboat. These thatch-roofed traditional houseboats are locally known as kettuvallams or the ‘boat with knots’. Houseboat cruising is the best way to enjoy the natural beauty of Kumarakom. Spend the rest of the day to enjoy cruising along the shimmering backwaters.
Backwater cruising is an excellent way for relaxation. Besides, travelers can get an idea about the day-to-day life of the backwater villages. Day 5
Explore Kumarakom
Kumarakom is widely known as the ‘Queen of Vembanad’. This quaint hamlet is situated on the banks of the river Vembanad. It is dotted with heritage resorts and homestays. You should visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary with its undulating rivulets, streams and waterways. The charming Vembanad Lake with its surrounding Mangrove forests and paddy fields is the best place to watch the birds inside the sanctuary. The bird sanctuary is the home of a large and wide variety of species of birds. Kumarakom is also famous as the major backwater destination.
You can enjoy wildlife Photography at Pathiramanal, the island nearby. You can also stroll through Kottayam the nearby town which is noted for its rubber plantations and majestic churches.

Day 6 & 7
Mararikulam / Marari
Marari Beach is small but spectacular. A right place to spend some time away from hustle and bustle of the city. You will love to unwind at the long stretch of white sand between so many coconut trees. Just sit at the beach and watch the frothing waves. In fact, you will not find any better way to relax.
Day 8
Mararikulam – Kochi Airport / Railway Station
After breakfast, drive back to the Cochin International Airport.
