The fourth edition of the 2018 Abu Dhabi Tour, a professional cycling race takes place from February 21-25, 2018. This prestigious cycling race of Emirates will be taken place over four stages throughout the country.

Abu Dhabi Tour is a multi-stage racing competition in which cyclists need to face competition and endure mind-blowing challenges. With a fast and balanced route, this race occurs between the sea and the desert and from the city to the mountains. The 2018 Abu Dhabi Tour is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) in collaboration with RCS Sport. It is also under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman, Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The fourth edition of this cycling competition is included in the WorldTour Calendar of the international cycling union, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

This race draws many people to the country because many best riders in the world have confirmed their participation in this great competition. The names include the Rui Costa, the winner of the last year’s Abu Dhabi Tour.Some other well known participants include former Vuelta a España winner Fabio Aru, Giro d’Italia winner Tom Dumoulin and a few other famous winners for the final General Classification victory. The classification leaders wear four different jerseys inspired from the four colors of the UAE flag after each stage. It was won by the Colombian Esteban Chaves in the year 2015 and the Estonian Tanel Kangert in 2016. The green Points Classification jersey and the black jersey are the other important jerseys for the Intermediate Sprint competition. The White jersey is for the Best Young Rider Classification Leader under 25.
